Please find latest port update below for San Francisco Bay Area. Pinole Shoal is 35.0 FT at MLLW FW draft restricted for 32.0 FT FW with 3 FT UKC requirement.

Many counties are offering the Johnson & Johnson COVID-19 vaccination for free to crew members.  Many counties may attend to a vessel at berth to provide the Johnson & Johnson vaccine.  Vaccinations are normally provided Tuesday and Thursday only between the hours of 0900hrs-1500hrs.  Appointments must be made in advance.

SAN FRANCISCO / OAKLAND CBP has noted the following for non-passenger vessels:
• Office hours 0830-1500.  Officers will may not be available to process any formalities including vessel Entrance/Clearance outside these times.
• CBP/Immigration are boarding limited vessels for foreign flag/crew arrivalS.  US Flag vessels/US Crew coming coastwise are not restricted.
• Crew changes are permitted.  Some off signers may require a Parole Request with U.S. Customs as well as a security escort to the airline departure gate.
• Repatriation of off-signers are allowed with CBP approval via parole. • All Certificates, CBP Receipts, documents (I-418, I-1303, I-1304) Will be emailed to agent prior to arrival and all CBP formalities will be performed in their office only.

National Terrorism Advisory System:

The National Terrorism Advisory System is (MARSEC Level I) for the Port of San Francisco, Oakland, Richmond, Rodeo, Crockett, Benicia, Martinez, Stockton, Sacramento.

UKC POLICY
====================
The minimum static under keel clearance (UKC) for any piloted vessel anywhere on the pilotage grounds shall be as follows:
 
i.   Two feet for non-tank vessels.
ii.  Three feet for tank vessels requiring a tug escort.
iii. Three feet for loaded anhydrous ammonia vessels.
 
Pinole Shoal Channel
Maximum draft for transiting Pinole Shoal Channel will be calculated on the height of the tide one hour on either side of high water at Pinole Point. It will be based on brackish water draft (1.010) allowing for 2’ UKC for non-tank vessels, and 3’ UKC for all tank vessels on the latest controlling depth.

Marathon Amorco - US MRZ 5 – Fresh water Minimum depth alongside 44.0 feet Vessels up to 152,407 MT DWT (150,000 LT DWT), maximum mean draft allowed alongside 40.0 feet, minimum Under Keel Clearance 3 feet.

Vessels over 152,407 MT DWT (150,000 LT DWT), maximum mean draft allowed alongside 38.0 feet, minimum Under Keel Clearance 3 feet.

TransMontaigne – US MRZ 6 – Fresh Water
With the required 2ft under-keel clearance (UKC), maximum draft allowed alongside MRZ6 is now 37.1 feet
